Forma boots generally follow standard everyday U.S. sizing, but there are some important points to consider as many riders will need to size up.
All boot brands have some size variation, especially in U.S. sizing, because there is no single official size specification that manufacturers follow. Euro sizing, however, is the most consistent standard worldwide, so if you know your EU size, that will always give you the best reference point.

Forma boots use a unisex last, with larger sizes the perfect men’s fitment and smaller sizes morphing into a women’s fitment.

Motorcycle boots are designed to fit more firmly than regular footwear so they stay secure on the foot and provide maximum control feel. They are also more rigid due to internal and external protective components. This construction design can make the boots feel smaller or tighter even when the internal dimensions match your normal shoe size.
Where sneakers and shoes flex to adapt to wide or large volume feet, motorcycle boots will not have the same flexiibility and many riders will need to size up. Addtionally it's best to have a generous fit, to allow for feet swell on long rides.  Don’t be concerned about the extra length when sizing up: most size increases only add about ¼ inch.
Also note that motorcycle boots have a longer, reinforced toe box for safety clearance, which can create the impression of narrowness even though the foot chamber is correct. Waterproof models have a WP membrane that slightly reduces foot volume, giving them a smaller fitment as well.

All that being said, its likely that your motorcycle boots will need to be one size larger that your sneakers. 

Measuring your feet is the most accurate way to establish the correct size on the first attempt.

The best method:
Place your heel against a wall and measure to the tip of your big toe.
Then add 1 inch to determine your ideal “inside boot” measurement.
(For sizes under Men’s 7 / EU 41, add ¾ inch.)
